Design Workshop - Full Flower Moon

The Perfect Mother's Day Gift!

The Full Flower Moon of May, so named by the Algonquin people, is the Full Moon for May. It is the time when our part of the Earth is in full flower. Our class will be held on the actual full moon date, and your instructor, Samantha Barr, has designed a unique workshop for Upper Village Blooms.

Using one of our favorite vessels to create a meditative floral design, you will learn the basics of a frog pin design and the gestural movement of flowers. Participants will also receive a Full Moon smoke cleansing kit to take home. This class is suitable for age 16+.

Mother's Day Portraits

Celebrate the Mother in your life with a family portrait!

Upper Village Blooms is designing an immersive garden-themed installation at LEAP Clubhouse for Mother's Day Portraits. Jill Paice of Copper and Tod Photography, based in Croton, will capture the magic. You have seen her work on our website and Instagram, and you can view more of her work on the Copper and Tod Photography website.

Our photo shoot is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, which gives you plenty of time to order prints for the perfect Mother's Day gift.

Your photo session will be 20 minutes, and we guarantee 3-5 edited high-resolution digital images. There is an additional option to print. Reserve your time slot online on the Upper Village Blooms Calendly. Spaces are limited!

Once you sign up, we will send over a mood board and additional information for the day.

What’s better than flowers for your Mom? Learning how to arrange flowers with your Mom. Or grab your Grandma, your Sister or your best mom Friend! 

Spend 3 hours together in a fun and professional environment learning how to arrange flowers in our signature romantic style with a modern twist. In this class, you will learn how to grid a glass vessel, select appropriate flowers and walk away with the foundations of floral design.

The $100.00 per person fee includes refreshments, as well as the vase and flowers that go home with you. The retail value of the arrangement per person is $60-65.
